Wide Horizons School
A values-based primary school expanding opportunity for children and families in Nairobi.
01 · The school
Expanding horizons through education.
Opened in 2022, Wide Horizons School was established to bring quality, values-based education to families in the Waithaka area of Nairobi, Kenya.
Set on a peaceful acre of land in the heart of a busy community, the school creates a nurturing environment where children can grow in confidence, character, and opportunity.
For several years, classes were held in temporary buildings while permanent classrooms were developed. In September 2024, students moved into newly completed learning spaces designed to support their continued growth.
Every student receives a hot lunch each day — for some children, it may be the most substantial meal they receive.
