Petals of Africa School

A values-based school bringing education, opportunity, and healing to children and communities in rural Kenya.

01 · The school

A school that helped heal a community.

Founded in 2001 by a youth outreach group in Nairobi, Petals of Africa School has grown from humble beginnings into a thriving primary and junior secondary school serving roughly 300 children through day and boarding programs.

Set in a rural area near the Tanzanian border, the school was planted in a place once marked by conflict between the Luo and Kuria tribes.

Locally, it became known as the healing school.

Through education, community, and shared values, Petals brought children and families together — and today offers a peaceful environment where students grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

02 · Character

Honesty.
Integrity.
Dignity.

Petals students consistently achieve strong academic results, regularly outperforming other schools in the region on national examinations — known just as much for their character and commitment to learning.

Many students come from challenging circumstances, including orphans and children from single-parent households. Through scholarships and ongoing support, E3 helps them continue their education and pursue greater opportunity.
